Number Recognition Activity: Using Dice to Teach Students Numbers
I use this every year in my classroom to assess if students can do the following skills: identify numbers, write numbers correctly and to count dots to correspond to the specific number.
This activity will include: two pages of directions, a student activity sheet to use with one die, a student challenge activity sheet to use with two dice, and a teacher example sheet.
Your students will have fun rolling dice, making dots, and then writing numbers all while you can use the activity as an assessment tool!
